Comment: A week after graduation I was fighting forest fires as a member of the Helena Hotshots, an elite Native American fire fighting team out of Helena, Montana. Having spent the summer fighting fires in Montana, Idaho and Sounthern Canada.  But turning 18 on the fireline for 33 days meant I was 24 days kate registering for the Seletive Service.  When I handed iin my form I was told being new to the area and not having family there mean i would be drafted within the week. I was told by the lady; "Why should we send one of our local boys when we can send someone no one know or would miss."  Being pissed I joined the Navy on the way home.

 After the better part of 3 years in Vietnam and a year in San Francisco I was separted and moved to New Mexico for college. Over the next 17 years I attended 7 colleges, worked 14 different jobs in accounting, tax preparation, restraunt management, retail sales & management, USA Swimming Coach, Martial Arts Instructor, etc. etc.  Oddly enough with partial degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, Masters Secondary Education, Master Education Technologies, Masters fine Art, My only degree out of 247 credited hours is a BA Studio Art-Painting/Sculpting.

     During that time I married and divorced Patricia Kay Greer (King Class of 69) , we have a son.  Then in 78 I married my wife Donna.  She is 10 yrs younger but after 39 years, 3 kids and 8 grand kids and she claims I am the biggest kid in the family.
